Kadinjača Rača Monastery Lađevac Spring Crnjeskovo Viewpoint Manastirski Stanovi Kremna Prophets Village
Tour Description:
The tour starts at Kadinjača monumental complex dedicated to the fallen warriors in WW2. Monument is located on the top of the hill between Užice and Bajina Bašta with beautiful view on surrounding mountains. The tour continues by passing through Bajina Bašta city and our next stop is Rača Monastery build in the end of the 12 century. Located in hidden part of Tara Mountain this monastery was most important rewriting school in medieval age. From there starts the hiking trail through hundreds of years old forest to get to the beautiful spring Lađevac. Next stop is “Manastairski stanovi”, place where monks from Rača Monastery spend time during summer. This is also the start of the second hiking trail that leads to the view point Crnjeskovo from with amazing view on Rača river canyon and Drina gorge. Last stop on this tour in Kremna village, the birthplace of the famous Serbian prophets family Tarabići who predicted many important historical events in Serbia and world history.
